Montigo Resorts, Somerset, Shepton Mallet

I had a fantastic time at the hotel! The rooms were gorgeous, and we were welcomed with slippers and robes upon arrival. The hotel staff was very friendly and even gave us a tour of the facilities before showing us to our room, which had private access to the spa. The unique layout, spanning two floors with two bathrooms and direct spa access, was both great and quirky. However, the dining experience was lacking some options, and the location was a bit chilly. Overall, a memorable stay!

The hotel had rooms that felt luxurious with doors opening up to a private patio area and access to an outdoor spa jacuzzi, making it a wonderful experience. The service provided was excellent with over-and-beyond offerings, although there was a need for diversity training in some aspects. The location had some disappointments with facilities needing maintenance, yet it provided a nice and private ambiance. The dining experience, with limited non-dairy options and greasy food, was not as impressive as expected.

The service was efficient and welcoming, though struggled during busy times. The location was convenient and spacious. The dining had good choices but slight portions. Overall, a mixture of positives and negatives.
